Day 2 - the "scenic detour," then "on route..." Kendall to Sedro-Wolley - 31.8 miles, 760 ft up

All right, all right! It was a confluence of our warm greeting, great breakfast, not being used to our maps and a road construction project that removed the highway signs... We were 16.5 miles off course on our first real day of riding and had to turn around and back track... Bonus miles! It was a beautiful ride, headed toward Mt. Baker.

On our way, we were passed by a big group of fine cars... Ferrari, Ferrari, Porsche, Masserati, Ford... Purr, purr, purr, purr... Whine!

We got back on course to Sedro-Wolley and soon found a place to stop...
Everybody's Store!
They even had a telephone booth that worked...

In Sedro-Wolley, we stayed in the city's riverfront park, which had a free concert.

"Walrus" played 60's and 70's covers until dusk, then everyone packed up and went home, so we had a quiet night.
